Who we are

Cleos™ is a brand of Trinity Pet Foods LLP ("Cleos", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle the personal information of people who visit getcleos.in, join our waitlist, sign in or place an order. You can reach us at feedback@getcleos.in.

What we collect

Waitlist and newsletter: your name, your cat's name, your mobile number and your email address.

Orders and checkout: your name, email, mobile number, delivery address and PIN code, your cat's name if you give it, a gift note if you add one, and what you ordered.

Signing in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. If you sign in with an emailed code, we receive your email address. We never see your Google password.

Your browser: we keep your cart and, when you are signed in, your sign-in session in your browser's local storage so the site remembers you. These are needed for the site to work.

Why we use it

To take, deliver and support your order, to run your account if you sign in, and to tell you about launches, offers and early access if you joined our list or signed in. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the link in them or by writing to us.

We also use it to keep the site secure, prevent misuse and meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share it only with service providers who help us run Cleos: our website host (Cloudflare), our sign-in and data service (Appwrite), Google when you choose to sign in with Google, couriers who deliver your order, and the payment provider once online payments are switched on. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Our sign-in and waitlist data is stored with Appwrite Cloud, whose servers are outside India. By giving us your information you understand it may be processed outside India by these providers, under their security commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and account details until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe. We keep order records for as long as we need them for delivery, support, accounting and tax. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email feedback@getcleos.in from the address you used and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you also have the right to nominate someone to act for you and to raise a grievance with us. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Cleos is for cat parents aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use reputable providers and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique email password and tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other sites, such as Instagram. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the bottom shows the latest version. If we make an important change, we will say so on the site.
